Every Spring, Santa Monica College holds a Student Photography Exhibit. Judging is by faculty members of the SMC Photo Department and all prints are juried by democratic process and judged on technical and artistic merit without regard to subject matter or category.

These are the entries selected for the 2011, 2010 and 2008 shows.

The below image has been selected as a finalist in the Photographer's Forum 31st Annual Spring Photography Contest. This image was chosen in the top 11% out of more than 14,000 photographs submitted. It will be published in the hardback book Photographer's Forum Best of Photography 2011 available in late December 2011. Judging is by professional photographers and college level instructors.
